As we had promised, this time we want to tell you about a lock that is on the market, very similar to the one we had discussed in the previous article, its manufacturer, the Phillips brand, is the one that has put it on the market. It is a lock specially designed for gates in which people have access to insert their hand to pull the latch and it is known to us locksmiths as the 715H.
In shape and measures it is very similar to the 715 of which we had commented in the previous articlebut it is designed with a long 5-bolt cylinder that provides more security. Its cover is made of more resistant metal and comes in chromed color, it is special for gates because it does not have the slip like the normal 715 so that it can be opened from the inside, for which it forces the user to have the key to be able to open and access. On the inside, the lock is flush to avoid any attack by a thief and on the outside, the cylinder is protected with the blacksmith, giving it a high degree of security against thieves.
One detail that you should keep in mind is that since the plate does not have the part with which you pull the slip on the inside, it is necessary that it be unlocked both from the outside and the inside, so this adds one more level of security.
